Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

  • The B Pharma eligibility criteria in India require one to pass a 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects.
  • The minimum aggregate marks required may vary from institute to institute but generally range from 50% to 60%. Some institutes may also conduct an entrance exam or accept national-level entrance exams such as NEET for admission. Terna College of Engineering, for example, considers the marks obtained in MHT CET(Maharashtra Common Entrance Test).
  • The  B Pharmacy admission process may differ depending on the institute but it usually involves filling out an online or offline application form, submitting the required documents and fees, appearing for an entrance exam or counselling session, and securing a seat based on merit or preference.

If you have a diploma in pharmacy, you can apply for this course too as eligibility for B Pharm after D Pharmacy is also accepted in most institutions.

The subjects in a B Pharm syllabus are designed to provide students with a comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy’s theoretical and practical aspects. The subjects may vary slightly from institute to institute but generally include the following:
